Well this is an odd one. It started life as when I heard a French?) Medieval hymn to the Virgin Mary but then ran away and became, in part, a homage to some of my heroes from the last century whereupon it got mixed up with an idea in the book The Owl Service by Alan Garner suggesting that things can be good or bad depending on the way you look at them. Songs: they're strange creatures.
