ARIEL'S SONG

from WALLFLOWER by EllY Tree

/

about

I can't claim to have written the words to this one, but I love The Tempest. It's my favourite Shakespeare play and the imagery in Ariel's speech is so appealing I felt compelled to write some music for it.

ARIEL'S SONG

ARIEL'S SONG
words from The Tempest by William Shakespeare

Full fathom five thy father lies
Of his bones are coral made
Those are pearls that were his eyes
Nothing of him that doth fa-a-ade
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange

Sea nymphs hourly ring his knell
Ding dong ding dong
Ding dong ding dong ding dong
Ding dong bell

Ding dong ding dong
Ding dong ding dong ding dong
Ding dong bell
